Technical Indexes to launch new information products at Interbuild 2000

Information specialists Technical Indexes, in association with British Standards Publishing Limited (BSPL), are to launch two brand new Internet and CD-ROM products at the Interbuild 2000 show, NEC Birmingham from 21-25 May.

The new online version of the RIBA.ti Construction Information Service is a joint production between Technical Indexes and RIBA Companies Limited. Developed specially for architects, civil and structural engineers, building control officers, building services engineers and other construction industry professionals, the new online service will deliver access to the latest, current information and standards in a faster, more convenient way.

Covering all aspects of the building, engineering, design and construction process, it contains over 300,000 pages of PDF wrapped full-text documentation, around 3,000 up-to-date British Standards and unique information included by special agreement with a wide variety of issuing bodies.

On the CD-ROM front, finding the latest summary information on construction standards will now be quick and simple thanks to the new Concise Construction Standards disc developed by Technical Indexes in association with BSI and NBS Services. An essential new resource for all specifiers within the construction, civil engineering and building services industry, the new CD-ROM includes informative summaries and full bibliographic data for around 2000 of the most important construction related British Standards.

Also on display at the show will be the Specify-it vendor data online service, ADB Activity Database, BS Online and the Healthcare Facilities Information Service (HFIS) products. You will find Technical Indexes on Stand 5225.

The Construction Information Service and Concise Construction Standards are jointly produced by British Standards Publishing Limited and RIBA Companies Limited. British Standards Online is a product of British Standards Publishing Limited. All these services will be supplied by British Standards Publishing Sales Limited.
