Flow Automation came into being in 1995 when Thermo Electron acquired GH Flow Automation. Originating in 1992 when Galveston-Houston acquired the relevant parts of Elliott Flow Computers and Tokheim Automation. The later addition of the turbine meter and RTU ranges of Hydril AOT placed the company firmly in the International Market.
